Patiala, December 12- Players of DAV Public School Patiala participated in the DAV National Level Tournament held at the Sports Stadium in Noida and Yamuna Complex, Delhi and won medals and trophies at various levels.
Ridhi of class 7 and Akshita of class 5 won gold medals in cricket. Pragya Grover of class 11 won two gold medals by securing second position in skating and won the overall trophy. Similarly, Akshit Sood of class 6 won a gold medal in Taekwondo, Prakul and Partha Kansal of class 8 won a gold medal in Handball, Mann Makkar of class 12 won a gold medal in Table Tennis, Abhijeet of class 11 won a gold medal in Cricket and Navjot won a gold medal. 
Similarly, Jasmehar Kaur of class 7 won a gold medal in Shooting and won a trophy for securing the first position, Aarav of class 9 also won a gold medal in Shooting, Arsh Veer of class 12 was also awarded a gold medal. Prabhleen of class 7 won a silver medal in Yoga, Swastika of class 6 was awarded a silver medal in Yoga, while Danishveer of class 6 won three silver medals in Archery.
 Tushita of class 8 won a silver medal in aerobics, Tejas of class 9 won a silver medal in aerobics, Prabhdeep of class 7 won a silver medal in shooting, Hiten Jaydka of class 8 won a silver medal in shooting, and Bhavisha of class 11 also won a silver medal. In shooting, Pradeep, Hiten Jaydka and Bhavisha brought glory to the school by winning the overall trophy and second place in air pistol.
Anika of class 10 won a bronze medal in yoga, Khushmeet, Tanisha and Sakshi of class 8 also won bronze medals in yoga. All these students brought glory to the school by winning a trophy and third place in yoga.
Prachi, Fatima and Bhavika of class 5 won bronze medals in gymnastics, similarly, Kudrat of class 8 won bronze medals in shooting and Dhruv of class 12 won bronze medals in Wushu. Principal Vivek Tiwari appreciated the efforts of sports teachers Lal Singh, Nitima, Kartik and Pooja Rao.
