Ambala, July 25:- Today, Police DAV Public School Ambala city organized an inter-house drama competition on the topic of "Environmental Responsibility". The objective of this competition was to create awareness and a sense of responsibility towards environmental protection among the students. Students from grades 3 to 5 of all the four houses of the school - Courage, Glory, Strength and Wisdom) participated in this competition. The children presented topics like deforestation, plastic pollution, water conservation, climate change and sustainable lifestyle in an effective manner on stage.
On this occasion, the school principal Dr. Vikas Kohli praised the children and said that protecting the environment is not the responsibility of the government or institutions alone; it is the collective responsibility of all of us. The young artists gave a beautiful message through plays. We should take steps today to protect our environment so that the future of the coming generations can be clean and safe. He distributed prizes to the winning children.
The first prize of this competition was given to Strength House, second to Glory House and third prize to Courage House. The competition was judged on the basis of content, acting, dialogue delivery and stage performance, decorations and overall impact.
