Sangrur, September 30:- As per the directions of Punjab Government Cabinet Minister S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian, the team of the Dairy Development Department, Sangrur, organised a milk producers awareness camp under the DD-6 scheme at village Kanjhla.
During the camp, S. Harpreet Singh, Deputy Director, Dairy, Sangrur, delivered a lecture on the facilities being provided by the government through the department for dairy farming. He also motivated educated unemployed youth to adopt dairy farming as a profession on a larger scale and improve their standard of living.
Retired Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry, Dr. Gurdev Singh, gave detailed information about maintaining livestock records and animal diseases. Retired Fodder Development Officer S. Ajaib Singh delivered a lecture on balanced animal nutrition, including hay, silage and animal feed. Dairy Development Inspectors Davinder Singh and Charanjit Dheer delivered a lecture on dairy schemes and profitable dairy farming. Village Sarpanch S. Satgur Singh thanked the department team for organising the camp.
