Hoshiarpur:- Creative competitions of students were organized under 'Creative Canvas-2025' in Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Collegiate Senior Secondary School Mahilpur, running on the campus of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, in which students from many schools of the area participated.
SDM Sanjeev Kumar Gaur attended as the chief guest on this occasion, while the presidium of the ceremony was attended by Sikh Educational Council President Sant Sadhu Singh Kaharpur, Manager Inderjit Singh Bharta, General Secretary Prof. Apinder Singh, Virinder Sharma, and resident journalist Narinderpal Singh Hundal.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh shared welcome words for the personalities present and shared a report on the academic, sports and cultural activities of the Collegiate School. On the occasion, many students of the ninth-tenth and eleventh-twelfth groups of the area participated in various competitions. In the poster making competition under the eleventh-twelfth group, Government School Bombeli won first, Government School Mahilpur second and the host school third.
In PPT presentation, Sant Baba Hari Singh School won first, Host School second and Government School Badian Kalan third, in essay writing, Government School Nangal Khurd won first, Host School second and Sant Baba Hari Singh School third. In model making, Sant Baba Hari Singh School won first, Host School second and Government School Mahilpur third. In the ninth-tenth class, Ladhewal School won first, Mother Teresa School Sarhala Khurd second and Ladhewal School Mahilpur third in creating rangoli on the theme of drug addiction.
In PPT presentation, Alice School Mahilpur won first and Mother Teresa School second. Similarly, in other competitions, students from other participating schools of the area, Government School Jian, Government School Boys Mahilpur, Government School Paddi Sura Singh, Government School Nangal Khurd, Akal Academy Khera, Monica Memorial School Maili, St. Kabir School Tutomajara etc. also received prizes.
On this occasion, the winning students were honored by the college administrators with prizes. The vote of thanks was shared by the Secretary of the Council, Prof. Apinder Singh. On this occasion, Advocate Jeevan Singh, Naib Tehsildar Ranbir Singh, Gurdial Singh, Principal Rajwinder Kaur, Principal Renuka Bali, Baljinder Mann, Prof. Kamalpreet Kaur, Prof. Jasdeep Kaur, Prof. Ashok Kumar, Prof. Harpreet Kaur Sekhon, Prof. Ganesh Khanna, Prof. Rajinder Kaur, Prof. Ramandeep Kaur etc. along with the staff and students of the college were present.
