Chandigarh , February 18 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini has made several important announcements to promote basic amenities including health , roads and irrigation in Uchana assembly constituency of Jind district . The Chief Minister said that the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board will get a new grain market and market committee building constructed in Uchana .
          The Chief Minister was addressing a thank you rally in Uchana on Wednesday . He also announced Rs 5 crore for the development of Uchana Vidhan Sabha , besides Rs 11 lakh each from the voluntary quota for Brahmin Dharamshala , Pichhara Samaj Dharamshala and Agarwal Samaj Dharamshala in Uchana city .
          The Chief Minister announced that the canal of Moga No. 3600 L Badhana Minor in village Thua will be paved at a cost of Rs. 75 lakh . Along with this, remodeling and rehabilitation of various water courses of Uchana assembly constituency and remodeling and rehabilitation of six waterways will be done . The cost of this work will be Rs. 3 crore 72 lakh .
          He said that a new building of the Primary Health Center of Ghoghariya and the Primary Health Center in Uchana Khurd will be constructed . Along with this, the Primary Health Center Karsindhu will be upgraded to a Community Health Center . Approximately Rs. 20 crore will be spent on these development works .
          The Chief Minister announced that the village Barsola sub-minor RD 19000 to 36500 of the Irrigation Department will be rehabilitated . E-library and gym hall will be opened in the buildings given by the village panchayats under the Panchayati Raj Department in the Uchana Vidhan Sabha . The road from Kehsun-Baroda to Baba Nagdev Temple, which comes under the purview of PWD, will be widened to 18 feet . Similarly, Anganwadi centers will be constructed in villages Safa Kheri , Tarkha , Sudkain Khurd and Thua .
          He said that in village Kahsun, renovation of water house , boosting station , water treatment plant and new pipeline will be laid in the streets . An amount of Rs . 3 crore will be spent on these development works .
          The Chief Minister also announced to repair the old and incomplete sewerage system of Uchana Urban at a cost of Rs. 9 crore . He also announced to expand the water drainage scheme in village Pega and lay DI pipe line . About Rs. 9 crore 33 lakh will be spent on these development works . Similarly, village Karsindhu will be included in the Mahagram scheme and about Rs . 50 crore will be spent on development works like sewerage system and installation of STP there .
          He also announced the construction of a total of 15 more classrooms and other works in Government High School Ghaso , Government Senior Secondary School Kalsun and Government Secondary School Vighana , Government Girls Senior Secondary School Aleva and Government Secondary School Khanda . He said that a committee will be formed for Karsola Minor and Dhakal Head to complete this work .
          The Chief Minister said that special repairs will be done to the TSC and the old grain market in Uchana . The Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board will widen and repair the old roads of various villages of Uchana constituency at a cost of about Rs 5 crore and 25 km of new roads will also be constructed . 146 roads of 122 km of Uchana assembly constituency which are under the DNP period will be repaired by the concerned agency as per the requirement . He said that similarly, construction of 7 roads of 15 km is in progress in the area . And special repairs of two roads of 3 km will be done at a cost of Rs 51 lakh 61 thousand .
          He said that 18 roads of the Public Works Department in Uchana assembly constituency will be specially repaired and upgraded at a cost of Rs . 32 crore 75 lakh. The total length of these roads is 68 km . Apart from this, 146 roads of the Public Works Department of Uchana assembly constituency of 617 km which are now under the DNP period will be repaired by the agency as per the requirement . Similarly, the construction of 88 roads of 392 km is in progress .
          Special repair work will be done on 10 roads of 54 km in the assembly constituency at a cost of Rs 26 crore . The Chief Minister while announcing this said that up to 25 km of unpaved roads will be paved for the sports complex of the upper assembly .
