Chandigarh: The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) of Panjab University, Chandigarh today successfully organized its annual alumni meet — CDOE Rendezvous 2025. Alumni from various fields like business, administration and education participated in the event. The event was a celebration of achievements, memories and the strong bond between the institution and alumni.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Prof. R. K. Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Maharaja Agarsain University, Solan (Himachal Pradesh) and Director, Himachal Pradesh Fela-Foundation; Prof. Rattan Singh, Vice Chancellor, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala;
Prof. Yojana Rawat, Dean, University Instruction, Panjab University, Chandigarh; and Prof. Madhurima Verma, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Other prominent guests included Prof. Sanjay Kaushik, Vice Chancellor, Gurugram University, Gurugram; Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda; and renowned film director Shri Ojasvi Sharma.
 Director of CDOE Prof. Harsh Gandhar welcomed all the distinguished guests and said that a strong relationship between the alumni and the institution takes any educational institution to new heights. The alumni and present teachers of CDOE as well as teachers from various departments and related colleges of Panjab University were also present on this occasion. Distinguished guests and alumni were honored during the event. 
The credit for the success of this program goes to the dedicated efforts of the non-teaching staff including Prof. Geeta Bansal, Prof. Swaranjit Kaur, Dr. Kamla, Dr. Parveen Kumar, Dr. Sucha Singh, Dr. Richa Sharma, PRO Dr. Purva Mishra and Student Coordinator Mr. Tilak Raj. At the end of the event, Dr. Kamla proposed the vote of thanks.
