Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, November 10: The process of enrolling 200 Civil Defense Volunteers per sub-division from all the sub-divisions under District SAS Nagar is underway, the last date of which has been extended from November 10 to November 14.
Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that the age of these volunteers must be at least 18 years and they should be residents of District SAS Nagar.
He said that interested candidates can contact the SDM office related to their sub-division for other conditions and information related to Civil Defense. Students of schools, colleges, other educational institutions under the concerned sub-division area, ex-servicemen and other interested persons who fulfill the above qualifications can submit their enrolment forms to the concerned SDM office by 14th November 2025.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the submitted forms will be forwarded by the Deputy Commissioner’s office to the Director General of Police-cum-Commandant General, Punjab Home Guards-Director Civil Defence, Punjab, Chandigarh for further action.
