Mohali, November 20: Two campaign teams, part of the Brahma Kumaris' "Self-Empowerment to Nation Empowerment," launched in Chandigarh, organized programs today at several security institutions in Mohali. One team addressed mental health and digital well-being at the Vigilance Building, Punjab. Captain Shiv Singh spoke on "Mental Power and Well-Being" at the event.
He stated that good mental health requires working on the mind. The only real solution to facing increasing pressures is to cultivate inner strength, as challenges will only increase day by day. He stated that Raja Yoga meditation is the most effective technique for enhancing mental strength. Spirituality means knowing oneself.
Following this, BK Shailendra (Mount Abu) presented a brief but powerful discussion on digital well-being. He explained that balanced use of digital media is essential for maintaining peace and focus in life. The session concluded with Raja Yoga meditation guided by BK Suman, which all participants described as extremely beneficial and profound. A sense of peace was felt.
Another group, BK Meenakshi, provided special training on digital detox at the airport's CISF unit. She emphasized that security personnel require mental alertness, emotional balance, and the ability to make calm decisions in difficult situations. The unit's Assistant Commandant, Mr. Kiran Kumar, welcomed the sisters with bouquets and, while thanking them, praised the Brahma Kumaris' work in relieving stress and empowering the soldiers internally.
Another program was held at the CISF unit at SCL, focusing on "Empowering the Nation through Self-Empowerment." Expressing her views on this topic, BK Jayshree stated that while thoughts vary, Raja Yoga meditation can be very helpful in transforming them into positive and empowering ones.
In this program, BK Bharti also conducted exercises to develop self-confidence, self-esteem, and positivity through Raja Yoga meditation. Participants found the practice inspiring and extremely useful. A program was also held at the Border Security Force campus in Lakhnaur, where participants from Mumbai participated. Inspiring speaker Professor EV Girish, in his keynote address, said that in today's fast-paced life, humans are working very hard physically, but at the same time, they are also filled with negative thoughts and self-doubt.
He emphasized that harmony between mind and body is essential for true progress. He said that Rajyoga empowers a person internally and can provide success even in difficult circumstances. Mr. Pramod Gangwar, Deputy Commandant, Border Security Force, thanked the Brahma Kumaris and praised their selfless service. BK Suman explained Rajyoga in detail and gave a deep experience of it.
