Mohali, December 22: A special program was organized at Brahma Kumaris Sukhshanti Bhawan, Phase 7, Mohali, on the occasion of World Meditation Day. The program was presided over by Brahma Kumari Premlata, In-charge of the Mohali-Ropar Circle, and attended by approximately 350 people, including Chief Guest Mr. Rakesh Kumar Popli, PCS, Additional Chief Administrator, PUDA.
Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta, Chief Engineer, CPWD, participated as a special guest, and Raja Yoga teacher Brahma Kumari Aditi presented her views as the main speaker. Brahma Kumari Rama, Co-in-charge of the Raja Yoga centers in the Mohali-Ropar Circle, explained and conducted a Raja Yoga meditation session during the program.
As the chief guest, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Popli, PCS, Additional Chief Administrator of PUDA, said that the Brahma Kumaris organization is doing commendable work in bringing peace, unity, and trust to the world. It is teaching spirituality through 6,000 Raja Yoga centers and 50,000 schools. He said that he himself had visited Mount Abu, and the Raja Yoga taught there has greatly helped him in his administrative work; therefore, everyone should learn Raja Yoga.
Brahma Kumari Premlata explained that we are all souls, not bodies, and the soul is merely playing a part here by wearing the body as a costume. She also said that Raja Yoga provides stability, inner strength, and peace in life. She further added that Raja Yoga meditation is a means of connecting with God, which is not found in any showroom or university, but God himself comes and imparts this knowledge.
This brings about the power of discernment, and life becomes fortunate. The practice of Raja Yoga not only has a positive impact on personal life but also promotes peace, harmony, and balance in society and the community.
Brahma Kumari Aditi said that spirituality means self-awareness, positivity, and connecting with God. She said that through Raja Yoga meditation, we gain the power of decision-making, tolerance, and... They cultivate humility.
She said that spirituality means self-awareness, positivity, inner peace, control over one's mind, integrity, transformation, understanding oneself and others, appreciating others, love, inner strength, and the practice of meditation. In this way, she defined spirituality in a very simple manner.
Brahma Kumari Rama Behan Ji, the co-in-charge of the Mohali-Ropar circle, explained and conducted Rajyoga meditation at the program, in which everyone experienced deep peace. She said that the Supreme Father is our true father, who resides in Paramdham (the Supreme Abode). While our earthly fathers change in every birth, and our homes also change in every birth. Therefore, it is essential to have a connection with that immortal Father, which can be learned through Rajyoga.
She said that by turning inward through meditation, one can make oneself peaceful, luminous, radiant, energetic, divine, and superior. Engineer Pawan Jindal, who was an Executive Engineer in CPWD, said that Rajyoga makes the body, mind, and wealth healthy and brings decision-making ability, capacity, and humility. Kumari Navya presented a dance and BK Praveen Bhai presented a divine song.
Shri Pawan Kumar Gupta, Chief Engineer, CPWD, extended his best wishes to everyone. Finally, it was announced that a free weekly Rajyoga meditation course will be held from tomorrow at 7-8 AM, 11-12 PM, and 6-7 PM, in which anyone can participate.
