Gurdaspur:- Deputy Commissioner offices in Punjab are receiving bomb threats. Under which, after receiving a bomb threat through email in Deputy Commissioner offices of Gurdaspur, Sri Muktsar Sahib and Nawanshahr, the entire district administrative complex was evacuated. Meanwhile, security agencies have become alert. According to information, a threat was sent through an email by an organization named ISKP of Pakistan, in which it has been said to target the DC complex.
Apart from this, the police and administration took immediate action and took the DC offices under security. A search operation is being conducted inside and around the office. Bomb disposal squad, dog squad and other security agencies have been deployed on the spot. Along with this, the e-mail is being examined to ascertain the source of the threat and its veracity.
After this threat, the entire Deputy Commissioner's office has been evacuated and the public is not being allowed to enter. The main doors of the DC office have been closed. The police are investigating from inside. The terrorist organization in whose name this email was sent has direct links with ISKP.
It is worth mentioning that even before this, bomb threats have been received against schools and courts, due to which security arrangements have already been increased across the state.
