Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 22 December: The District Red Cross Society, S.A.S. Nagar is continuously carrying out public welfare works. In this series, keeping the winter season in mind, blankets were distributed to 80 patients at the District De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Center, Sector-66, S.A.S. Nagar by Smt. Komal Mittal, I.A.S., Deputy Commissioner and President, District Red Cross Society.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the patients admitted in the center and also obtained information about their problems. The Secretary of Red Cross informed that this material has been provided as per the directions given by the Deputy Commissioner-cum-President.
On this occasion, Smt. Sonam Chaudhary, P.C.S., Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development), Sri Harbans Singh, Secretary Red Cross Branch S.A.S. Nagar, Dr. Priya and Dr. Pooja Garg (Psychiatric Doctors), Sri Navdeep Singh (Counselor), Sri Nek Ram (Manager), and members of the Red Cross Branch team were present.
