Karnal, November 4: Bharat Vikas Parishad (Krishna Branch), Karnal, organized a speech competition with reverence and enthusiasm on Tuesday at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karnal, to commemorate the Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The program began with Vande Mataram and was presided over by Mr. Anil Madan. 
Fifteen students from the school participated in the competition and presented their powerful views on the life, sacrifice, bravery, and ideals of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. The jury included Mrs. Savita Sharma (Punjabi teacher at a government school) and Mr. Devendra Mohan Singh (retired teacher).

The results of the competition were as follows:
First Place – Harshiya (Class 8th)
Second Place – Harshpreet (Class 9th)
Third Place – Gurnoor (Class 9th)

The winners were honored with mementos, medals, and certificates. Other participating students were also encouraged with medals and certificates. Mrs. Sonia Hans and Mrs. Urmil Chawla were the project leaders for the program. Professor Joginder Madan delivered an inspiring address on the great teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, filling the atmosphere with spirituality and patriotism. 
The entire program was effectively conducted by Branch Secretary Mrs. Sonia Mehta. Senior branch members, including Mr. Rakesh Hans, former President Meenu Chawla, Balbir Chawla, Sandeep Malhotra, Rajni Puri, Rajni Gupta, Sakshi Saluja, Suman Tarika, Ajit Tarika, Harshita Sukhija, and Suman Arora, provided commendable support.
 Refreshments were provided for the students at the end of the program. This event was successfully organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad Krishna Branch, giving the inspirational message of the immortal sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji and the preservation of eternal values.
