New Delhi: Anmol Bishnoi, an accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case, has been deported from the US and is likely to reach India on Wednesday. A police official said that gangster Anmol Bishnoi, the main accused in the murder case of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, is being deported from the US to India. He said that there was a firing at Bollywood star Salman Khan's house in April 2024 and Anmol Bishnoi, wanted in this case, is expected to reach Delhi on Wednesday.
The official said that the Mumbai Police had sent two proposals for his extradition. He said that there are several cases registered against this gangster across the country and the central government will decide to which agency his custody should be given first. Earlier this month, the investigating agencies had received information that Anmol Bishnoi was detained in Canada.
The official said he was allegedly holding a Russian passport which was obtained on the basis of a fake document. Zeeshan Siddiqui, NCP leader and son of Baba Siddiqui, told the agency that he had received an email informing him that Anmol Bishnoi had been deported from the United States.
This means that he is not in the US and should be brought to India and prosecuted for his crimes.
