Hoshiarpur:- An important meeting was held at Sardar Kartar Singh Bains Memorial Football Stadium in Khera Village of Punjab Football Association, Doaba Sporting Club Khera Mahilpur and sports enthusiasts of the area in which discussions were held regarding organizing a league of teams from 8 states that reached the final round of the Asmita Under 13 National League organized by the All India Football Federation to promote girls' football across India.
On this occasion, PFA Joint Secretary Vijay Bali and Doaba Sporting Club Khera Mahilpur President Jathedar Iqbal Singh Khera informed that 8 teams have qualified from their respective zones in the zone level league of all the states of India, namely Punjab, Gujarat, Mizoram, Kerala, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Assam and Jharkhand, which will be divided into two groups and the league will be held from April 7 to April 16 and the semi-finals and final matches will be held.
The All India Football Federation has entrusted the entire responsibility of arranging hotels for the accommodation of all the teams and the arrangements for their travel from there to the ground to PF Secretary Harjinder Singh Jagga Vijay Bali and Hardeep Singh Saini. Doaba Sporting Club has given full assurance of providing every kind of cooperation to organize this tournament.
