Una, November 19: Lieutenant Colonel SK Kalia, Deputy Director of the District Sainik Welfare Office, Una, informed that Armed Forces Flag Day is celebrated every year on December 7th. However, this year, since December 7th fell on Sunday, it will be celebrated on December 6th.
He said that Armed Forces Flag Day is an occasion to express respect and gratitude to our brave soldiers, veterans, and families of the brave. The funds collected on this occasion are used for their welfare.
The Deputy Director appealed to government and non-government institutions and other citizens to contribute generously on this important day and ensure their participation in honoring the soldiers.
