Amb/Una, June 25: Applications have been invited to fill 3 vacancies for Anganwadi Workers and 14 vacancies for Anganwadi Helpers under the Child Development Project, Amb. CDPO Amb, Kuldeep Kumar, stated that interested candidates can submit their applications on plain paper at the Child Development Project Office, Amb, by 5:00 PM on July 10.
Kuldeep Kumar informed that one post each for Anganwadi Worker will be filled at the Vadhamana-II, Jawal-I, and Badau-I Anganwadi centers. Meanwhile, one post each for Anganwadi Helper will be filled at Kotli, Siddhchalehad, Pinjore-II, Behad, Vadhamana-II, Ladiyal Chuk, Katauhar Kalan-II, Bijapur, Bajigar Mohalla, Takoli, Shivpur, Hiranagar-II, Diyada-II, and Behdi.
Additionally, interviews for these posts will be conducted on July 15 at 10:00 AM at the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Amb.

**Educational Qualifications and Criteria**
CDPO Amb Kuldeep Kumar stated that the minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi Helper has been set as passing the 12th standard (10+2). The applicant's age must be between 18 and 35 years. Candidates must be ordinary residents of the survey area of ??the respective Anganwadi center. The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed ?50,000; a certificate to this effect must be certified or countersigned by a Naib Tehsildar, Tehsildar, or Executive Magistrate.

**Interview Process**
He stated that the selection for the advertised posts will be based on merit, out of a total of 25 marks. For both Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper posts, a maximum of 10 marks will be awarded for educational qualifications based on the percentage of marks obtained in the 10+2 examination; specifically, the marks awarded will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, with a maximum cap of 7 marks derived from the 10+2 percentage. Candidates possessing higher educational qualifications will be awarded 3 additional marks: 2 marks for a bachelor's degree and 1 mark for a postgraduate degree or higher.
A maximum of 3 marks will be awarded for work experience. Candidates who have worked for at least 10 months in the relevant Panchayat—serving as Anganwadi Workers, Anganwadi Helpers, Bal Sevikas, Balwadi Teachers, Nursery Teachers, Tailoring Teachers, or ECCE Caregivers—will receive one mark for each year of experience, subject to a maximum of 3 marks. Women with a disability of 40 percent or more will be awarded 2 marks, provided the disability does not hinder the discharge of their job responsibilities.
2 marks will be awarded to SC/ST/OBC candidates. 3 marks will be awarded to residents of state homes or girls' ashrams, orphans, widows, destitute women, divorcees, married women whose husbands have been untraceable for the past 7 years, and women abandoned by their husbands who are currently living with their parents. 2 marks will be awarded to an unmarried daughter from a family with two daughters and no sons, or to a married woman who has two daughters and no sons. 3 marks will be awarded for the personal interview.
