Chandigarh, December 24:- Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister Shri Krishan Kumar Panwar has announced Rs 21 lakh for the complete development of his ancestral village Chuhar Majra (District Kaithal) on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Brahmanand Maharaj. Despite not attending the state-level function due to ill health, he made this announcement while expressing his commitment towards the development of Guru Ji's birthplace. This amount will be spent on expansion of basic facilities in the village and various development works related to the people.
Mr. Panwar said that in the state-level program organized in Chuhar Majra, Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Harvinder Kalyan and many public representatives and saints were present and they bowed at the feet of Guru Brahmanand Ji and sought blessings.
He said that the words and teachings of Guru Brahmanand Ji give the society a message of love, social harmony, service and sacrifice. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is moving forward in the direction of social and cultural renaissance. Organizing the birth anniversaries of Sant Ravidas Ji, Sant Kabirdas Ji, Bhagwan Valmiki Ji, Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and other great personalities is becoming a strong medium of awareness and inspiration in the society.
Mr. Panwar said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, work is being done in Haryana in the field of rural infrastructure, roads, drinking water, employment and strengthening of Panchayats with speed and transparency. Strong Panchayats are the cornerstone of a strong society and this is the inspiration we get from the lives of great saints like Guru Brahmanand Ji.
