Santoshgarh/Una, May 31 (Rajveer Chopra):— At the 5th Shri Shyam Sankirtan Mahotsav, organized under the aegis of the Shri Shyam Mitra Mandal, Una, the world-renowned Bhajan singer Anjali Dwivedi mesmerized thousands of devotees with her melodious vocal performance. Held on Saturday night at the Inder Palace in Santoshgarh, the grand Shri Khatu Shyam and Salasar Balaji Sankirtan witnessed a magnificent confluence of faith, devotion, and enthusiasm.
During the event, the celebrated Bhajan singer Anjali Dwivedi—who had arrived from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh—immersed the devotees in a spiritual trance by performing popular Bhajans such as "Ram Siya Ram," "Ye Khatu Wale Ka Darbar Hai," "Tere Dar Pe Aane Ko Jee Chahta Hai," "Bhakton Ke Ghar Sanware Aate-Jaate Raha Karo," "Dil Chori Sadda Ho Gaya Khatu Ke Mandir Mein," "Jo Haar Ke Dar Pe Aata, Mera Shyam Usse Gale Lagata," and "Baba Mera Kaam Karoge, Kya Loge Baba." The devotees present at the venue continued to sway to the rhythm of her Bhajans until late into the night.
The program commenced with a *Ganesh Vandana* (prayer to Lord Ganesha) performed by Namish Bassi from Santoshgarh-Una. Following this, he delivered soulful renditions of several Bhajans, including "Meri Baat Ban Rahi Hai," "Teri Baat Karte-Karte," "Sarkar Teri Sarkari Mein," "Karte Ho Tum Kanhaiya," and "Shyam Dhani Ka Jaikara." Shyam devotees enjoyed the Bhajan evening with immense enthusiasm, remaining deeply immersed in the devotional atmosphere.
Throughout the festival, the divine forms and grand shrines (*Darbar*) of Mehandipur Balaji, Salasar Balaji, and Shri Khatu Shyam Ji—adorned with gold and silver—remained the focal points of the devotees' faith. The entire premises appeared steeped in a "Shyam-centric" atmosphere, as devotees kept the environment charged with devotion through their resounding chants of "Jai Baba Ki!"
At the conclusion of the program, following a collective *Aarti* (ritual worship), *Chhappan Bhog Prasad* (sacred food offering) was distributed among the devotees. The members of the Shri Shyam Mitra Mandal expressed their gratitude to all the collaborators, volunteers, and devotees who had traveled from far and wide to contribute to the success of the event.
