Chandigarh, October 13, 2025 - Today, at the Seva Bharti Bhawan in Sector 29, the Confederation of All India Traders and Swadeshi Rojgar Manch organized an important event as part of the Swadeshi Abhiyan movement. Following the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, people pledged to adopt indigenous products. 
Swadeshi Rojgar Manch All India Organization Minister Mr. Satish, State Organization Ministers Mr. Vinay Kumar, Amit Kumar, Mr. Mayank, and Mr. Rohit also participated in the event.
During the event, Honorable All India Organization Minister Mr. Satish made the attendees pledge with their hands raised to use and promote only indigenous products.
Harish Garg, President of the Chandigarh Chapter of the Confederation of All India Traders, and General Secretary Bhimsen, emphasized the use of indigenous products, urging traders to abandon the temptation to earn money from foreign goods and sell only indigenous products.
Harish Garg said, "The Swadeshi Pledge is not just a program; it's a pledge for nation-building. When the country was under slavery, our ancestors and freedom fighters launched a campaign to liberate our country by abandoning foreign goods. This was for the country's independence. Today's Swadeshi campaign, which we are all trying to transform into a mass movement, will help India achieve economic independence and become a great global power."
CAT Vice President Prem Kaushik and Harishankar Mishra also spoke at length and encouraged the merchants present to adopt indigenous goods.
Treasurer Mr. Ramesh Singla, Organization Secretary Ajay Singla, Secretary Umesh Gupta, Secretary Rajpal Dongar, marble traders Mr. Ram Ji, Manmohan Goyal, Mahavir Goyal, Rajkumar Ji, and Ashok Kumar Ji were also present. Sector 22 Chairman Mr. Subhash Gupta, Vendor Cell Chairman Mr. Ravindra Timma, and Mukesh Giri were also present.
The presence of women was also notable, including Mrs. Sunita Dhawan, Anita Chaudhary, Neelam Ji, Sunita Bhatt, Ruby Gupta, and Pinky Ji.
All those present on the occasion pledged to adopt indigenous goods and contribute to nation-building.
The program concluded with the singing of Jana Gana Mana.
