Amritsar:- Amritsar Rural Police has busted two drug trafficking networks and arrested three accused in two separate operations. Drug money worth Rs 9.90 lakh including 6.582 kg heroin was recovered from the accused. This information was shared by Punjab D. G. P. Gaurav Yadav on Twitter.
The D. G. P. said that the police have registered separate FIRs against the accused under the NDPS Act at police stations Ajnala and Beas, Amritsar. Investigation is underway to establish the forward and backward links of these accused, identify all the associates involved and dismantle the entire supply chain.
