Nawanshahr:- Under the instructions of the Punjab Government and the School Education Department to conduct Mega PTM in all schools across the state today and under the able leadership of District Education Officer Madam Anita Sharma and Deputy District Education Officer Lakhbir Singh, a Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting was organized at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School Langroa. On this occasion, the children of the institution participated in the Mega PTM with their parents.
The head of the institution Dr. Surinder Pal Agnihotri State Awardee, SMC Committee members and the school staff welcomed the parents of the children. The teachers reviewed the activities carried out by the children in various fields apart from their studies during the year with the parents. An overall evaluation of the children's studies was made.
Principal Dr. Surinder Pal Agnihotri appealed to the parents to keep in touch with their teachers about their children from time to time. The parents present on the occasion were given detailed information about the facilities being provided by the government in the field of education. School Head Dr. Surinder Pal Agnihotri asked the parents to get their children admitted in government schools for a better future.
The head said that the government is providing free online coaching for children studying science subjects during school hours. On this occasion, children who played a unique role in various fields such as quiz competitions, educational competitions and sports at the block level and district level were honored by the head and all the staff. The school teachers exhibited models prepared by them related to various subjects, which was highly appreciated by the parents.
Advertisements promoting the education revolution in educational institutions issued by the government and Education Minister Harjot Bains were distributed to the parents of the children. The head of the institution, Dr. Agnihotri, honored the members of the School Management Committee. During the parent-teacher meeting, the weight of the children and parents was weighed and blood pressure was checked. During today's parent-teacher meeting, Deputy District Education Officer Lakhbir Singh specially attended and inspected the parent-teacher meeting and discussed the coordination and discussions between the children and the teachers with the parents.
Apart from this, DM and District Coordinator Barinder Banga also participated in the PTM. He appreciated the services provided by the teachers of Langroa School to the parents of the children. Barinder Banga told the teachers in his message that attention should be diverted from the noisy posts and only focused on the education of the children so that good results can be achieved.
