Ambala, October 11 (R. Singh):- Auditions for Ambala’s “Khoj Hunar Di” solo dance competition, titled “Stage to Stardom,” were held today at Ambala Club. More than 50 participants showcased their talent, and 28 talented contestants were selected for the semi-finals to be held on October 18. The jury comprised Arvind Suri, Anil Mahant Bittu and Amanpreet Kaur.

The competition is being organised by the PMG Group of artists dedicated to art and culture and the Haryana Artists Forum, in collaboration with Ambala Club. Surjit Budhiraja, MD of NexGen Financial Services and a renowned poet, was the chief guest at the event. Parvinder Gupta welcomed Surjit Budhiraja on his arrival.

While hosting the programme, coordinator and theatre artist Jasdeep Bedi said that the main objective of organising the competition was to provide a platform to hidden talent, help participants hone their skills and take them from the stage to stardom. The semi-final of the solo dance competition will be held on October 18, and the grand finale on October 25 at Ambala Club. Social worker Sanjay Sethi, Rakesh Makkar, Uma Shankar, Gaganjot Singh Bedi and Priya Singh Multani played a special role in making today’s programme a success. Along with the participants, a large number of their parents and teachers were also present at the event.
