Karnal: Acting on a tip-off, the team of Jalmana police post under the jurisdiction of Assandh police station arrested an accused of illegal liquor manufacturing. The operation was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarjeet Singh.
The arrested accused has been identified as Saheb Singh, son of Sukh Singh, resident of Jalmana village (Karnal). Police recovered 160 liters of liquor from the accused's tent, which he used to manufacture illegal liquor.
The investigating officer stated that a case has been registered against the accused under the Excise Act at Assandh police station and necessary action has been taken.
