Ratia/Fatehabad: Students from Shaheed Davinder Singh Government Post Graduate College for Women, Ratia, showcased their talent at a program organized by the Department of Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, and Industrial Training, Haryana.
The District Youth Festival 2025 was held at Chaudhary Maniram Godara Government College for Women, Bhodia Kheda. Various cultural and literary competitions were organized during the festival, with students from various educational institutions in the district participating enthusiastically.
The college students performed admirably in the painting, poetry, story writing, and speech competitions. Ekta Rani, a BA final year student, displayed excellent oratory skills, securing second place in the speech competition. Ekta Rani impressed the judges and audience with her powerful ideas, impressive expression, and deep understanding of the subject.
College Principal Paramjeet Sandha congratulated the students on their success, stating that this achievement is a matter of pride for the college. He explained that such competitions develop students' self-confidence, leadership skills, and expressive skills.
Prof. Ritu, the cultural in-charge, praised the student, saying that she has brought honor to the college with her confidence, clear expression, and excellent oratory skills. He added that talented students like Ekta are the true identity of the college and will achieve even greater heights in the future.
College Public Relations Officer and Cultural Department Co-ordinator, Prof. Surendra Sharma, also congratulated the student, saying that she has not only brought honor to the college but has also become a source of inspiration for other students. The college family expressed happiness at the student's success and wished her a bright future.
