Amritsar:- A reel has been made of a young man rinsing his mouth in the Sarovar of Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar. Protests started as soon as the video went viral. This video was posted on social media with the caption "Muslim lion". Apart from this, the young man is wearing a Muslim cap.
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Chief Secretary Kulwant Singh Mann has strongly objected to this. He said that the video will be investigated. If it is genuine, then it will be investigated where the sevadars were at that time.
The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has already banned the making of reels in the Harmandir Sahib complex, citing religious sentiments. Therefore, sevadars have also been deployed to ensure that no such objectionable video is made there. In this regard, a 13-second video is going viral.
In it, a young man sits with his feet in the Sarovar of Sri Harmandir Sahib and washes his face and then rinses it. During the video, he rinses his face three times and then spits into the Sarovar.
He then washes his face and points towards Sri Harmandir Sahib with his fingers. The young man is wearing a black jacket and jeans, and a black Muslim cap.
