Hoshiarpur: A unique confluence of education and service was witnessed at the Government Primary Smart School in Preet Nagar, Hoshiarpur. Here, the renowned Delhi-based NGO, "Up Rise Together Foundation," organized a grand event as part of its special project, "Khushiyan Da Basta" (The Bag of Joy). Under this noble initiative, new school bags were distributed to all 350 students of the school, ranging from the nursery level up to the fifth grade.
**Smiles Return to the Faces of Needy Children**
Speaking emotionally on the occasion, the organization's Director, Raminder Singh Sachdeva, stated that the primary objective of their foundation is to ensure that every needy student possesses at least one school bag for their studies. He emphasized that a lack of resources should never stand in the way of any child's dreams on their educational journey.
**Distinguished Personalities Boost the Children's Morale**
The event was graced by the special presence of Kirti Chakra awardee (Retd.) Subedar Charan Singh and organization member Gurpreet Singh. School In-charge Parveen Kumar extended a warm welcome to all the guests and lauded the organization for this commendable act of service.
To bestow their blessings upon the children, Baba Balbir Singh (Head of the Netraheen Ashram, Hariana), Atma Singh, and Onkar Singh Khalsa also arrived as special guests. Their presence infused the event with a sense of spiritual and moral energy.
