Fatehabad, March 6: As the Lok Adalat, scheduled for March 14, 2026, draws near, cybercriminals have become more active. These fraudsters are attempting to steal sensitive information from people by sending fake links under the guise of Lok Adalat. Taking this threat seriously, Fatehabad Superintendent of Police, Mr. Siddhant Jain, IPS, has appealed to the public to remain vigilant.
According to Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain, cybercriminals are sending links via email, SMS, and WhatsApp that appear to be official, but their sole purpose is to obtain people's bank details, passwords, OTPs, and other personal information. He said, "Clicking on these fake links could result in your sensitive information being transferred to criminals, potentially causing financial loss."
The police have shared some important tips to alert citizens. First, do not share your personal information, passwords, OTPs, or bank details through any email, SMS, or WhatsApp link. Second, obtain information related to the Lok Adalat only from government portals or authorized websites. Third, if you receive any suspicious link or message, immediately contact the nearest police station or the national cyber helpline number 1930. Fourth, immediately report any cyber fraud attempts so that others can remain vigilant.
SP Jain made a special appeal to citizens to not only remain vigilant themselves but also share such information with their family, friends, and relatives so that no one falls prey to these fake links. He said, "Cybercriminals are exploiting a sensitive process like the Lok Adalat to mislead people. In such a situation, only your vigilance can keep you safe."
The police's message is clear: think before clicking any link, check it thoroughly, and proceed only after being completely sure. In today's digital world, even one wrong click can make you a victim of cyber fraud. Remember, stay alert, stay safe.
फतेहाबाद, 06 मार्च:- जैसे-जैसे 14 मार्च 2026 को आयोजित होने वाली लोक अदालत की तारीख नजदीक आ रही है, वैसे-वैसे साइबर अपराधी भी सक्रिय हो गए हैं। ये ठग लोक अदालत की आड़ में फर्जी लिंक भेजकर लोगों से उनकी संवेदनशील जानकारी चुराने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। इस खतरे को गंभीरता से लेते हुए फतेहाबाद के *पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री सिद्धांत जैन, आईपीएस* ने आमजन से सतर्कता बरतने की अपील की है।
एसपी सिद्धांत जैन के अनुसार, साइबर अपराधी ईमेल, एसएमएस और व्हाट्सएप जैसे माध्यमों से ऐसे लिंक भेज रहे हैं जो देखने में सरकारी प्रतीत होते हैं, लेकिन इनका उद्देश्य केवल एक है लोगों से उनकी बैंक डिटेल, पासवर्ड, ओटीपी और अन्य व्यक्तिगत जानकारी प्राप्त करना। उन्होंने कहा, “इन फर्जी लिंक पर क्लिक करते ही आपकी संवेदनशील जानकारी अपराधियों के पास पहुँच सकती है, जिससे आपका आर्थिक नुकसान हो सकता है।”
पुलिस ने नागरिकों को सतर्क करते हुए कुछ महत्वपूर्ण सुझाव साझा किए हैं। पहला, किसी भी ईमेल, एसएमएस या व्हाट्सएप लिंक पर अपनी व्यक्तिगत जानकारी, पासवर्ड, ओटीपी या बैंक विवरण साझा न करें। दूसरा, लोक अदालत से संबंधित जानकारी केवल सरकारी पोर्टल या अधिकृत वेबसाइट से ही प्राप्त करें। तीसरा, यदि कोई संदिग्ध लिंक या मैसेज प्राप्त हो, तो तुरंत निकटतम थाना या राष्ट्रीय साइबर हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1930 पर संपर्क करें। और चौथा, किसी भी साइबर धोखाधड़ी के प्रयास की तत्काल रिपोर्ट करें, ताकि अन्य लोग भी सतर्क रह सकें।
एसपी जैन ने नागरिकों से विशेष अपील की है कि वे स्वयं तो सतर्क रहें ही, साथ ही इस तरह की जानकारी अपने परिवार, मित्रों और रिश्तेदारों के साथ भी साझा करें, ताकि कोई भी व्यक्ति इन फर्जी लिंक के जाल में न फंसे। उन्होंने कहा, “साइबर अपराधी लोक अदालत जैसी संवेदनशील प्रक्रिया का सहारा लेकर लोगों को भ्रमित कर रहे हैं। ऐसी स्थिति में केवल आपकी सतर्कता ही आपको सुरक्षित रख सकती है।”
पुलिस का संदेश स्पष्ट है कोई भी लिंक क्लिक करने से पहले सोचें, उसे अच्छी तरह जांचें और पूरी तरह आश्वस्त होने के बाद ही आगे बढ़ें। आज की डिजिटल दुनिया में एक गलत क्लिक भी आपको साइबर ठगी का शिकार बना सकता है। याद रखें सतर्क रहें, सुरक्षित रहें।
