Ambala, 2 September:- To further strengthen the railway infrastructure, a five-hour block will be taken on 9th September at Ambala Cantt railway station on the railway yard from 10.45 AM to 15.46 PM. According to information issued by Railway, this block will be taken to increase loading capacity from 52 kg to 60 kg on superstructure diamond single point number 225B/226 at Ambala Cantt railway station. During this time, trains arriving and departing as per time table have been cancelled and platforms have been changed.
Train No. 14502 (Kartoli-Ambala Punjab Express) and Train No. 14501 (Ambala-Kartoli Punjab Express) will remain cancelled on 9th September.
Train No. 12054 (Amritsar-Haridwar Express) on 9th September will arrive at Platform No. 3 instead of Platform No. 1, Train No. 14618 (Amritsar-Purnia Court Express) will arrive at Platform No. 3 instead of Platform No. 2. Train No. 22488 (Amritsar-Delhi Vande Bharat Express) on 9th September will arrive at Platform No. 6 instead of Platform No. 1 and Train No. 14617 (Purnia Court-Amritsar Express) will arrive at Platform No. 4 instead of Platform No. 2. Train No. 15903 (Dibrugarh-Chandigarh Express) on 9th September will arrive at Platform No. 4 instead of Platform No. 2, Train No. 12926 (Amritsar-Bandra Terminus Express) at Platform No. 6 instead of Platform No. 2, Train No. 22430 (Pathankot-Delhi Express) at Platform No. 6 instead of Platform No. 1, Train No. 22318 (Jammu Tawi-Sealdah Express) at Platform No. 6 instead of Platform No. 1 and Train No. 15011 (Lucknow-Chandigarh Express) will arrive at Platform No. 4 instead of Platform No. 2.
Railway has requested passengers to check their train status from enquiry counter at railway station, announcements, railway staff, NTES or Rail Madad 139.
