Chandigarh, April 10:- Adding another impressive achievement to the proud track-record of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute, 20 cadets of the institute have successfully cleared the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview and secured a place in the final merit list for the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA)-156 course commencing in June 2026.
Cadet Abhish from Mohali has secured the fourth rank at the All India level, while cadet Gurkaranjit Singh from Malerkotla has secured the 12th rank. Thus, a total of five cadets of the institute have made it to the top 100 positions in the national merit list. The selected cadets are now awaiting their joining letters from the National Defence Academy, Kharakwasla.
Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Mr. Aman Arora, terming this achievement as a testament to Punjab’s growing dominance in the defence sector under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann, lauded the cadets. These cadets are the pride of Punjab. These cadets have brought glory to the entire state due to their hard work, discipline and the excellent training imparted at this preparatory school. He said that he wished the cadets all the best for a bright future.
