Teej festival celebrated by women staff of Punjab School Education Board.

SAS Nagar, July 26, 2025: Yesterday, the Teej festival was celebrated in a very charming style by all the women employees and officers of Punjab School Education Board. On this occasion, the first woman director of the former director, animal husbandry department, Punjab, Sangeeta Toor, attended as the chief guest. With her arrival, this auspicious courtyard became even more beautiful.

With her arrival, this auspicious courtyard became even more beautiful.
They enjoyed this program a lot and also appreciated the program and said that the Teej program prepared by Parminder Kaur is very commendable. They congratulated Punjabi subject expert Parminder Kaur and said that organizing such programs despite being busy with office work is a very good effort to keep our society and our old social customs alive.
On this occasion, Deputy Secretary, Dr. Gurmeet Kaur also joined this cultural program and invited people to stay connected with their culture. Deputy Director Navneet Kaur also praised the program and called the various cultural programs presented as a good effort to stay connected with their rich heritage.
The presentation of Punjabi folk songs, Punjabi solo dance, Punjabi women's gidha Meri Jan Kude by the female employees of the Punjab School Education Board on the occasion of Teej festival became the heartbeat of everyone. Along with this, the presentation of Sandhara given by the parents to married girls on the occasion of Teej festival made everyone's eyes water.
The stage prepared during the program was also seen presenting the variety of Punjabi culture. The stage was decorated with traditional heritage items like Madhanis, Chatis, Charkhas, Pakhias, Chakkis and Phulkaris which touched the hearts of everyone. While everyone enjoyed this Teej festival, this festival also gave a message to everyone to stay connected with their heritage. In the end, the chief guest, Sangeeta Toor, said that we should organize such programs every year, so that we can keep today's generation connected with our heritage in this way and always honor our mother tongue. Everyone enjoyed this program a lot and the program ended up being memorable, leaving indelible impressions.
