Varanasi - President Narendra Modi today said that his promise to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack "has been fulfilled through 'Operation Sindhur' with the blessings of Lord Shiva. Modi, while addressing a public meeting in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi, said, "I was very sad after the death of 26 people in the Pahalgam terror attack."
He said, "My promise to avenge the sindhur of our daughters has been fulfilled with the grace of Mahadev. I dedicate the success of 'Operation Sindhur' to the feet of Mahadev." The Prime Minister also stressed that the 'unity of 140 crore Indians' has become the strength of Operation Sindhur.
Hitting out at the opposition, Modi alleged that while the entire country was celebrating the success of Operation Sindhur, “some people in our own country were getting upset about it.” He said, “Congress and its allies are not able to digest the fact that India has entered Pakistan and destroyed the sanctuaries/places of terrorists.” He said that several airbases in Pakistan are still in ICU.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stones and inaugurated several projects worth over Rs 2,200 crore in Varanasi constituency. He also disbursed the 20th installment of Rs 20,500 crore under the PM KISAN Samman Nidhi scheme to 9.70 lakh eligible farmers across the country.
