Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, June 28, 2025: Under the directions of Shri Harmandeep Singh Hans, Senior Superintendent of Police and under the leadership of Shri Navneet Singh Mahal Superintendent of Police Traffic, under the campaign to create awareness about traffic rules, Karnail Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic, organized a special seminar to make drivers of various school buses aware about traffic rules compliance. The main message of this seminar was to make school bus drivers aware about traffic rules and ensure the safety of school children.
On this occasion, the school bus drivers thanked DSP Traffic for organizing this seminar on traffic rules. DSP Traffic finally told all the school bus drivers that school buses should never be driven above the speed limit set by the government, uniform should be worn while driving the school bus, school buses should be checked from time to time, all school buses should have a conductor or an assistant, the assistant should be given proper training to handle small children. He said that all school buses must have first-aid boxes and fire extinguishers as per the rules.
