Two Naxalites killed in Narayanpur encounter.

Narayanpur:- An encounter broke out between security forces and Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district this morning, in which two Naxalites carrying a reward of Rs 40 lakh each were killed. Police officials said that the two have been identified as Raju Dada alias Katta Ramachandra Reddy (63) and Kosa Dada alias Kadari Satyanarayana Reddy (67). Both are central committee members of the outlawed Communist Party of India.

Narayanpur Superintendent of Police Robinson Guria said, “Information was received about the presence of Kosa and his associates a few days ago. Based on this information, the security forces launched a search operation in the area. Following this, an encounter took place this morning in the forests of Abhujmard adjoining Maharashtra and both the Naxalites were killed. A large quantity of arms, explosives and other material, including an AK-47 rifle, have also been seized from them.
