Chandigarh, September 23:- On the occasion of Haryana Veer and Shaheed Diwas, dignitaries paid homage to the great heroes at the memorial sites of immortal martyrs in Rewari district on Tuesday. Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh, Health and Ayush Minister in the Haryana Government Kumari Aarti Singh Rao, Rewari MLA Lachhman Singh Yadav, Bawal MLA Dr. Krishan Kumar, Kosli MLA Anil Yadav, Pataudi MLA Bimala Chaudhary and BJP District President Vandana Popli paid tribute to the statue of the great freedom fighter Rao Tularam at the city's Amar Shaheed Rao Tularam Chowk and Rao Tularam Shaheed Memorial Park.
On this occasion, after garlanding the statue of immortal martyr Rao Tularam, Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh said that great heroes like Amar Shaheed Rao Tularam are a source of inspiration for us. He said that the great heroes of freedom, brave sons and freedom fighters, who sacrificed themselves for the country full of national love, are the invaluable legacy of Indian heroes. He said that since the independence of India till today, our brave soldiers who have lived for the country are the pride of India. Rao Inderjit Singh said that the country will always be inspired by the sacrifices of the brave warriors who sacrifice themselves day and night in the defense of the nation. He said that it is a matter of great pride for us that during the independence, while raising our voice against the British, in getting freedom and after independence, as vigilant guards on the borders of the country, our Ranbankurs gave a message of patriotism without caring about their lives, which is inspiring for the youth.
A great hero like Rao Tularam is the pride of our nation - Aarti Singh Rao
On the occasion of Haryana Veer and Martyrdom Day, Health Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao in the Haryana government paid homage to the statue of the great freedom fighter Rao Tularam and said that the martyr Rao Tularam is the pride of not only the region but also the entire country. He said that following the path shown by such great heroes, the Central and State governments are continuously moving forward together for development and public service.
Kumari Aarti Singh Rao also said that it is a matter of pride that our brave freedom fighters have contributed to the country's independence and the country's brave soldiers have made an incomparable contribution to maintaining independence. Every tenth soldier in the country's army is from Haryana and the share of soldiers from Rewari district is the highest.
On this occasion, MLA Lachhman Singh Yadav, MLA from Bawal Dr. Krishan Kumar, MLA from Kosli Anil Yadav and MLA from Pataudi Bimala Chaudhary, remembering the honorable history of the brave martyrs, inspired the younger generation to contribute to the cause of the nation.
