He said that in earlier times, Lohri festival was celebrated on the occasion of the birth of a boy, but now with the changing times, the practice of distributing Lohri on the occasion of the birth of a girl has started, which is a very commendable step to erase the difference between boys and girls. He congratulated the entire staff on the festival of Lohri.
On this occasion, Prof. Raideep Singh presented a song related to Lohri and Prof. Kanwaljit Kaur expressed her views on the festival of Lohri. A beautiful Mundariya song was presented by the entire staff together. On this occasion, a farewell party was given to Baldev Singh, the college electrician who was retiring from the college.
