Sri Amritsar Sahib- Shiromani Akali Dal (Revived) President Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh Ji after in-depth discussions with the senior leadership of the party, has formed a 7-member selection committee keeping in mind the Tarn Taran by-election.
This committee will submit its review report to the party president within five days after contacting the local leaders, workers and state delegates of the party. Based on this report, the party will prepare the final strategy for the Tarn Taran by-election. 
The members of the committee are as follows:

2. Bhai Manjit Singh Ji 
3. Jathedar Sucha Singh Chhotepur 
4. Jathedar Iqbal Singh Jhundan 
5. Sardar Shivinder Singh Dobalia 
6. Sardar Daljit Singh Gill Amarkot 
7. Sardar Ranjit Singh Chhajjalwandi

The future strategy will be prepared keeping in mind the opinions of the party workers. The party will decide its future strategy for the Tarn Taran by-election only on the basis of the committee's review report.
