Hisar- As per the directions of Superintendent of Police Hansi Amit Yashvardhan, under the drug de-addiction campaign, Hansi Police organized a Kabaddi competition in village Sisai Kalirawan to promote sports and keep the youth away from drugs.

Hansi Police's drug de-addiction team in-charge Assistant Sub Inspector Deepak Kumar said that in village Sisai Kalirawan to keep the youth away from drugs, teams from 8 villages, namely Sisai Bolan, Masudpur, Lohari Ragho, Singhwa, Kumbha, Gagan Khedi and village Mahjat, participated in the competition organized.
All the players showed their strength in all the matches. All the matches were tough competition. In which the final match was a tough competition between the teams of village Gagan Khedi and Sisai Kalirawan. In which the team of village Sisay Kalirawan won by defeating the team of village Singhwa 27-24 in the final match. The winning team was honored by Hansi Police by giving attractive prizes and all the players were given refreshments.
Assistant Sub Inspector Deepak Kumar said that during the competition, the villagers, youth and players were made aware of traffic rules against drug abuse and road safety. Minor children were told not to drive vehicles until they become adults.
Telling about the ill effects of drug abuse, they were encouraged to stay away from drugs and inform the police about those selling drug related items in the village and nearby areas. After the match, the police arranged refreshments to encourage the players. All the youth took an oath to stay aware against drug abuse and also to make the people around them aware.
