Nawanshahr - Under the banner of Aas Social Welfare Society, Baba Wajir Singh Khalsa Senior Secondary School organized an NSS camp. Under the leadership of Principal Jasveer Singh, under the after care project, RK Arya took care of the saplings planted near the school ground, cleaned and weeded around the saplings and applied water.
On this occasion, Principal Ashok Kumar said that the children of Baba Wajir Singh School have made a valuable contribution to save the environment by organizing this NSS camp today. He said that today there is a great need to save the environment due to global warming. He said that our Aas Social Welfare Society where planting saplings on a large scale every year. It also pays attention to save the plants planted there. He further said that we have organized a five-day camp to beautify Nawanshahr and save the environment. Aas Social Welfare Society has contributed a lot for this camp. We will further contribute to save environment and water together with this NGO. On this occasion, Gulshan Rana addressed the children and said that dear children, today you have played a great role for the society by doing this commendable work. There you should also avoid eating fast food to maintain your health and be a good citizen and contribute to the development of the country by studying more and more.
