In which physical examination of women and men, mammography test for breast cancer of women, cervical cancer test, PSA test for prostate cancer of men, oral cancer test for women and men, blood cancer test for women and men, advice for treatment of cancer patients, bone tests, sugar and blood pressure tests for women and men and tests for common diseases and free medicines were given to the needy.
Cancer patients and patients with common diseases were examined in today's camp. Giving information about the camp, Society President Dilbagh Singh, former District Education Officer, said that in the memory of Major Mandeep Singh, a free eye check-up camp has been organized continuously for the first two years. This time, the society decided to conduct free cancer screening for the convenience of the people, seeing the increasing incidence of cancer in the society. This camp was inaugurated by the patron of Naroa Punjab, Barjinder Singh Hussainpur, and he honored the prominent personalities present.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that it is a very good and commendable step of the society because the government cannot provide such help to every citizen. Today, due to major changes in our food, drink and living conditions, this unwanted disease is increasing day by day. If this disease is diagnosed at an early stage and treatment is started, then it can be cured. Therefore, there is no need to fear the disease, but timely treatment is needed.
