Chandigarh: 14th March 2024: The Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell (EIC) of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh and Atal Incubation Centre-Indian School of Business (AIC-ISB) Association signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for providing capacity-building and mentoring support for each other's startups today on 14th March, 2024.
Chandigarh: 14th March 2024: The Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell (EIC) of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh and Atal Incubation Centre-Indian School of Business (AIC-ISB) Association signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for providing capacity-building and mentoring support for each other's startups today on 14th March, 2024. EIC-PEC also organized an insightful Tech Talk on ''Generative AI's Impact on Product Development'' in collaboration with AIC-ISB, Mohali. The keynote speaker of the event Mr. Kiran Babu (Founder Rava AI) and Mr. Naman Singhal (CEO, AIC-ISB) along with Director Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia, Dr. Simranjit Singh (Coordinator EIC) and Dr. Sudesh Rani (Co-coordinator EIC). Registrar Col. R.M. Joshi along with members of faculty and students were present on this occasion.
Dr. Simranjit Singh (Coordinator, EIC) expressed his gratitude towards esteemed guests. He shed light on the working of EIC. He felt proud in the realm of signing an MoU with AIC-ISB Mohali and releasing the brochure of 'PEC's E-Summit 2024 - Paradigm of Innovation'. He also expressed his gratitude towards the Director, Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia for his support and guidance and Dr. Sudesh Rani for coordinating this event with smoothness and dedication.
Director of PEC, Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia, welcomed all the esteemed guests at the portals of PEC. He also complimented the coordinators of the event for their enthusiasm and dedication. He said that words such as Start-ups, entrepreneurship, incubation, ecosystems are nowadays in the air. He shed light on the entrepreneurial ecosystems, where students can come across even more often. He said that, ''This is the area, where sky is the limit.'' He inspired the students to write down their ideas, analyze them and follow them. He also said that, ''This is the best time to be in India. And to venture in any field of work.'' He also shared his valuable insights on ''When you are living in an Idea, something will eventually come up.''
Mr. Naman Singhal, expressed his gratitude towards Prof. Setia (Director) and the coordinators of EIC. He said that we are working to make tech entrepreneurs roll out the tricity. PEC is one of the renowned institutions of the country, we truly wanted to associate with PEC. He shared his plans and ideas towards the working of AIC. He also complimented Mr. Kiran Babu for his unique entrepreneurial ideas and experience with the many organisations.
The Resource Person Mr. Kiran Babu in his interesting talk shed light on the topic of ''Gen AI's Impact on Product Development Life Cycle.'' He engaged the audience with his marvellous orations and realistic insights. He shed light on the concept of shipping to shopping, AI, and various entrepreneurial organisations. Their working, ideas, policies, the strategy and many other examples. The session ended with an interactive Q&A round engaging the audience with the session.
The session ended with a Vote of thanks by Mr. Shubham.
