Garhshankar- Today, Adarsh Social Welfare Society Punjab celebrated Independence Day by planting saplings in the crematorium of village Kunail under the leadership of its founder president Satish Kumar Soni. On this occasion, Principal Jagdish Rai, Chief Spokesperson Punjab, Surjit Singh, District Chairman Hoshiarpur, eminent social worker Bir Shivdev Singh Rana, village Sarpanch Renu Bala, former Sarpanch Vinod Kumar Soni participated in the function.

Garhshankar- Today, Adarsh Social Welfare Society Punjab celebrated Independence Day by planting saplings in the crematorium of village Kunail under the leadership of its founder president Satish Kumar Soni. On this occasion, Principal Jagdish Rai, Chief Spokesperson Punjab, Surjit Singh, District Chairman Hoshiarpur, eminent social worker Bir Shivdev Singh Rana, village Sarpanch Renu Bala, former Sarpanch Vinod Kumar Soni participated in the function.
On this occasion, 20 shade, fruit bearing and medicated saplings were planted. On this occasion, the Chief Spokesperson Punjab Principal Jagdish Rai said that today is a very sacred day. On this day, we got independence, in this our brave warriors made our country free by making sacrifices.
Celebrating this by planting saplings is a very commendable act, first we achieved freedom from the British by struggling and now we have to get freedom from the polluted environment by planting saplings. On this occasion, President Satish Kumar Soni said that every year our governments make announcements on this auspicious occasion by talking about cleanliness and development, but these remain only announcements, the reality is different from this.
He said that when it comes to saving the environment, organizing awareness camps about drugs and equality between daughters and sons, then Adarsh Social Welfare Society takes the initiative in this regard and the office bearers of the society stand in the front row in this work due to their hard work, which is worthy of congratulations.
Former Sarpanch of the village Vinod Kumar Soni praised this work of Adarsh Social Welfare Society and said that this is a very noble work. He thanked all the society office bearers and villagers for celebrating Independence Day by planting saplings in the village.
