National Sports Day celebrated at Sikh National College Banga

Nawanshahr - On the occasion of the birthday of the world famous hockey player Major Dhyanchand, the magician of hockey, the Physical Education and Sports Department of Sikh National College Charan Kanwal Banga celebrated National Sports Day under the leadership of Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder. In which apart from the players of various sports of the college, students of the college also participated.

In which apart from the players of various sports of the college, students of the college also participated.
On this occasion, the Principal, staff and players paid tribute to the picture of Major Dhyanchand, the hero of Sports Day. To promote sportsmanship among the players, Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder said that Dhyanchand, born in an ordinary Rajput family, got the sportsmanship recognized everywhere with hard work. Due to which his name was written in golden letters on the pages of history. Therefore, such a great player should be considered a true ideal and hard work should be done with true dedication. On this occasion, the staff and students were honored by distributing laddus.
At this time Prof. Munish Sandhir (Dean Sports), Dr. Gurwinder Singh, Prof. Vipan, Prof. Jyoti Prakash, Prof. Gurpreet Singh, Prof. Kishore Kumar and Prof. Unkar Singh Sidhu were present.
