Youth Service Club to participate more and more in social service - Komal Mittal

Hoshiarpur - The Department of Youth Services Punjab has provided financial assistance to youth services clubs working in the district to speed up their activities. Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal today handed over checks of the aid amount to these youth clubs at the District Administrative Complex and encouraged them to participate more and more in social service. Meanwhile, Assistant Director Youth Services Department Hoshiarpur Preet Kohli and Assistant Public Relations Officer Lokesh Kumar were also present with him.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner said that it is the best initiative of the Youth Services Department that youth services clubs are being activated to support the government in social activities by providing financial support. He said that the clubs who are contributing in social activities like blood donation, anti-drug awareness, sports and making Punjab a Rangla Punjab, are being given this assistance in the form of awards and grants. Meanwhile, he appealed to the youth clubs to cooperate in bringing awareness against drugs in their village and locality and if any person is found in the drug business, they should dial 112 number and report it to the police. He said that the name and address of the informant will be kept confidential.
Assistant Director Youth Services Department Preet Kohli said that financial assistance has been provided to the active youth clubs of the district on the instructions of Youth Services Department Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hare, Department Chief Secretary Sarabjit Singh and Director Harpreet Singh Sudan. He said that today Deputy Commissioner Usman Shaheed, Dashmesh Youth Services Club Haryana, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Youth Services Club Dholanwal, Youth Services Club Dhade Fateh Singh, Youth Services Club Bodal Cantonment, Youth Services Club Gulund, Youth Services Club Gag Jalo, Youth The presidents of Service Club Badyal, Youth Service Club Haled, Youth Service Club Dandoh, Youth Service Club Dhaliwal, Youth Service Club Melli, Dasmesh Youth Service Club Randhawa etc. handed over financial assistance amount checks to the members. Preet Kohli said that with this amount of assistance, youth service clubs can buy sports equipment and other necessary equipment for other activities as per their requirement.
