SAS Nagar, December 29 - A special assembly was organized in the Holy Wonder Smart School campus to commemorate the martyrdom of Baba Zorawar Singh, Baba Fateh Singh and Mata Gujjar Kaur, the younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

The spokesperson of the school said that the students were introduced to the great saga of martyrdom of Sahibzade, known as the most unique martyrdom in the world. The students were told how the little Sahibzades got martyrdom while laughing and not accepting religion.

Director of the school Ashwin Arora and Praveen Sabharwal said that the cruel rulers of that time had tried their best to wipe out the traces of the Sikh community. He said that the martyrdom of Chhota Sahibzades had presented the true promise breaking the pride of tyrants and oppressors and today the whole world is offering flowers of devotion while remembering those children from the heart.
