Hoshiarpur- Regarding the 17th Jor Mela of Baba Khwaja Pir Ji at village Mehmadwal, the villagers under the leadership of Sarpanch Gurjit Singh Khaira of Mehmadwal Kalan and Sarpanch Kamaljit Kaur Bains of Mehmadwal Khurd released the poster of the Jor Mela. While giving information in this regard, the organizers said that the flag ceremony will be performed on Sunday, June 8.
The ceremony of the raft and the chadar will be performed at 4 pm on the same day. A cultural program will be organized on Monday, June 9 from 10 am to 5 pm. In which Sufi artist Kashi Nath, international singer Jelly, Gurjit Jeeti, Suraj Jhander, Nikku Dhariwal, Ali Gopal Puria etc. artists will present religious and cultural programs.
