Una, December 13 - State Tax and Excise Department celebrated its 53rd Foundation Day at DRDA Hall Una. The program was presided over by Vinod Kashyap, Joint Commissioner of State Tax and Excise, Central Enforcement Zone Una. On the occasion of Foundation Day, Vinod Kashyap said that the department plays an important role in the development of the state. He called upon all the officers of the department present to work hard to increase the revenue collection.
Top taxpayers of the district honored
On this occasion, the top tax payers of the district were honored by giving them citations from the department. Apart from this, officials of Industrial Association District Una, Press Club Una and District Bar Association were also honored on the 53rd Foundation Day.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner of State Tax and Excise Department, Una, Vinod Singh Dogra welcomed all the guests present in the program. Apart from this, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Virendra Dutt Sharma gave detailed information about the departmental activities as well as the achievements of the department.
