Mahilpur, (December 4) All the Sangats of village Nangal Khurd took out Prabhat Pheri dedicated to the Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj Ji. This Prabhat Pheri started from Gurudwara Bhai Theva Singh Ji and passed through various religious places and various halts in the village and ended back at Gurudwara Bhai Theva Singh.
On the last day, when this morning Prabhat Pheri reached Gurdwara Dera Bishanpuri, the Chief Sevadar Baba Vikramjit Singh welcomed him and food was arranged for the devotees participating in the morning Prabhat Pheri. Bibi Satinder Kaur, Bibi Surinder Kaur, Baljinder Kaur, Balveer Singh, Bibi Manjeet Kaur, Manpreet Kaur Mani, Manpreet Singh Goga and other members of the village were present on this occasion.
While talking, Bibi Satinder Kaur said that the Sangat also went to Dera Bishanpuri, Gurudwara Begumpura Sahib, Gurudwara birthplace of Baba Harnam Singh Ji and received the blessings of Guru Ghar by singing Shabad.
He said that Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj Ji has given respect to women by saying in his speech 'So Kyun Manda Aakhiye, Jit Jame Rajaan'.
He said that there were many women in Sikh history who propagated and spread the ideology of Guru Sahib Ji. He said that we should follow the path shown by Guru Sahibs and live a life of service, meditation and charity.
