Public awareness campaign should be run against drug abuse - Lalit Mohan Pathak.

Nawanshahr- Continuing the 'Nasha Mukti Yatra' under the 'War against Drugs' campaign of the Punjab government, on June 3, the residents of village Kot Ranjha of Nawanshahr assembly constituency were sworn in to actively contribute to the campaign against drug abuse.

On this occasion, Nawanshahr's constituency in-charge Lalit Mohan Pathak appealed to the people of the village to run a public awareness campaign against drug abuse at their own level and not to associate with any person promoting drug abuse, so that the campaign against drug abuse can be made a mass movement.
He also said that for the bright future of the coming generation, it is the need of the hour to make Punjab a Punjab of wrestling, akhadas, bhangra and giddha. Therefore, we all should together emphasize on the need to make the district drug free.
He said that the cooperation of the youth has an important role in eradicating drug abuse from its roots. Therefore, every person should take a pledge to make his home, society and district drug free.
On this occasion, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Geetanjali Singh, BDPO Rajwinder Kaur, Dr. Ranjeet Harish, village panchayats and village dignitaries were present.
