The General Secretary of the Federation Mr. Pawan Godyal said that after the announcement of the strike by the organization, Mayor Amarjit Singh Sidhu held a meeting with the organization in which Senior Deputy Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Joint Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner and Sanitation Branch officials participated.
He said that after the decisions taken in the meeting and the assurance given by the Mayor to accept the demands, the strike starting from the 8th has been postponed for 15 days. And if the demands are not settled within 15 days, then the strike will be conducted by the organization from November 22.
State Vice President Mohan Singh, Mohali President Sobha Ram, Gurpreet Singh and Anil Kumar also participated in the meeting.
