Garhshankar- Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar organized a lecture on ‘Digital Well-Being: Social Media and Mental Health of Youth’ under the leadership of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira in collaboration with the Psychiatry Cell.
On this occasion, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, the Chief Resource Person, participated and in her address, shared her thoughts on the impact of social media on the lives of youth in a simple and serious manner. She emphasized on reducing the negative effects of mental health and social media on mental health through digital awareness.
Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira honored Resource Person Dr. Gurpreet Kaur with special honors from the college. The stage was conducted by Dr. Naresh Kumari, Incharge Psychiatry Cell. Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur, Dr. Janki Agarwal, Dr. Sangha Gurbaksh Kaur, Prof. Kiranjot Kaur, Prof. Narinder Kaur, Prof. Harpreet Kaur were present on this occasion.
